Reggio Calabria lies on the Eastern coast of the Messina Straight, at the feet of the Aspromonte. It is an ancient city, founded by the Greeks. In Reggio Calabria one can visit the Magna Grecia Archaeological Museum, which houses the famous Riace Bronzes, the Museum of Marine Biology, the Cathedral, the Villa Antica, the Villa Comunale.
