Torre Camigliati is a unique country residence situated right in the heart of Calabria's enchanting forest covered mountainside, in the area known as Sila Grande, located some 1200 meters above sea level.
This recently restored 18th century building originally served as an elegant hunting lodge for the local aristocracy.
Torre Camigliati is comprised of 3 floors, the highest of which is reserved for 12 guest bedrooms and suites. The spacious rooms are all furnished with the simple charm of the finest southern Italian country homes.
The focal point of the large living room, furnished with comfortable divans and items of period furniture, is the beautiful open fireplace.
Six self contained mini apartments with fully fitted kitchens have been created in buildings which once provided accommodation for the men and women employed to work on the 200 acre estate.
Torre Camigliati has a number of well equipped function rooms with a seating capacity of 10, 20 and 50. The impressive main hall accommodates up to 150 people. The attractive lobbies are furnished with furniture dating back to the 19th century.
The staff of Torre Camigliati will be pleased to organize visits to the fascinating Old Calabria park and excursions through the Sila Grande, with or without guide.
