La Locandiera Scilla - Calabria

La Locandiera is a welcoming bed & breakfast located in Scilla, in the old fishing district of Chianalea. In this southern most part of Calabria, gazing out across the Strait of Messina towards Sicily, centuries old customs and ancient legends live on despite the passage of time. The guest house is located right in the heart of Scilla, in the shadow of the imposing Ruffo Castle, surrounded by the fascinating composition of houses, passageways, palazzi and stairways which characterizes the picturesque historic center. La Locandiera provides a great base for those wishing to explore Southern Calabria. On request, the guest house organizes guided tours of Scilla and excursions to Reggio Calabria, Aspromonte, and along the legendary Costa Viola. The B&B also arranges scooter and dinghy rental and private transfers to and from the region's principal airports.
