La Casa nel Borgo Gerace

The ancient medieval village of Gerace in Calabria (Italy) was founded by descendents of the Greek colony of Locri who had fled to the area in their attempt to escape the attacks of the Saracens. The presence of an impressive number of monasteries, convents and places of worship make Gerace a town of immense cultural interest.

Those travelling by train or bus to La Casa nel Borgo should alight at the station of Locri. The nearest airports are those of Reggio Calabria and Lamezia Terme. By car, follow indications as far as Siderno and then proceed towards Locri as far as Gerace.
